Story

On the June 8th, 2019, two-thirds of the six Stephenson brothers are each going to run one-quarter of the 44-mile "Classic Quarter" coast path ultra-marathon. There will be no half measures.

Pat, Jamie, Jo and myself are probably the first "all-brother" relay team to enter this race, and we fully intend on being the first all-brother team to win it, too. Between us we will be training 200+ miles a week in the lead up to the event, taking time away from young families and loved ones to achieve peak physical condition. There's a good chance at least one of us is running while you read this. It's fair to say that the Stephenson boys possess a competitive streak (you try being one of six boys) but when that competitiveness is put to a common cause... well, who knows what can happen?

We'll find out on June 8th.

Of course It's the taking part that counts (whatever) and we think this is a great opportunity to raise money for Winston's Wish, a charity that supports children who lose a parent or sibling.

As some of you may know, we lost our father 20 years ago. We were lucky to have a mother and extended family who supported us through the tough times and helped us develop in to the formidable men that we are today. Not all children are this lucky, and even the ones that are will benefit enormously from the support and resources that Winston's Wish offers.

Give them your money.
