It's always difficult to write why we do things like this because it's often related to a sad event in our lives. Last year I lost my best friend my Dad, Peter Pope. Dad, has always supported St Catherine's Hospice as they nursed  my Mum, Veronica. Many of us will know someone who has received support from St Catherine's and the fabulous work they do for their patients and their families and the more money raised the longer the facilities will run.

But why climb Kilimanjaro? Well why the hell not! Life's for living you only get one shot at it make it count!!
