Story
This is now our 3 year together as a team fundraising for St Oswald's - So far or journey has taken us Skydiving (over 12,000 FT), Cliff Jumping (over 40FT jump into North Sea), Coast to Coast Cycle (134 Miles in 2 days) which we have raised over 10k in this time for St Oswald's.
The plan was to go Wing Walking this year however the weight restriction of 12Stone was too much for most of us who now have middle age spread so we have decided to continue with the endurance theme and have added a bit of spice at the end of the challenge by tackling the longest zip wire in Europe.
In case anyone hasn't read my story I have added the link so you can understand how I have come to this point in the journey and my reasons for continuing to do what I am doing(https://www.justgiving.com/upintheair2/) Please take time out to read it if you haven't.
I have also attached some links for information so you can understand more about the challenges so you wish to or even if you want to add yourselves to the team.
Our plan as a team is to try and raise 10k this year as our team continues to grow - We will be tackling the 3 peaks which is to climb the highest 3 mountains in England, Scotland and Wales within 24hours, this is not to be underestimated as due to doing this in 24hours this means we will be climbing in the dark and also trying to get some sleep during the travelling. (http://www.threepeakschallenge.uk/)
Then once we get to the bottom of Snowdon in Wales we will then travel to tackle the longest zip wire in Europe, this should keep us awake as our adrenaline will be fully flowing by travelling at over 100mph. (http://www.zipworld.co.uk/what-to-expect-at-zip-world-velocity/)
We will be doing this the first week in July so time to get some training in.
Thanks for taking time to read my story and anything you can donate is greatly received and if you cant donate you can still play a part by sharing and spreading my story so I can reach as many people as I can.
I will post regular updates via Facebook for those interesting in following our journey.
