Story
In April 2011 Stephen Morris ran the London Marathon in a blisteringly quick 5 hours. Having taken a break from the sport in 2012 to concentrate on his shot put career he's back and 'competing' in this year'sVirgin London Marathon.
This is not a decision Stephen has taken lightly. But following some serious PBs set in training runs around the Fulham, Wandsworth and Wimbledon area he now feels he's ready to put his trainers back on and pound the streets of London.
Can you help him?
Well no, you can't. In fact bylaw 12.3 states clearly that runners must complete all 26.2 miles of the course unaided. It is also mentioned in section 17(b) that race organisers may disqualify those who fail to use the designated toilet facilities and defecate in people's gardens.
You may wish to sponsor Stephen. If so, you've come to the right place. Like last time he's fundraising for the National Autistic Society, who are the leading UK charity for people with autism (including Asperger syndrome) and their families. Thanks very much for all your support.
