Stephen was a student at Atlantic College (class of 1962-4) and lifelong supporter of the United World Colleges movement (staying involved with Atlantic College until 2008). 

Stephen died on 8th May 2015 and his family have asked people to donate to the College in lieu of flowers at the Cremation or Celebration of Life service (2:30pm, Wednesday 10th June 2015 at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel, Hertford Road, Welwyn AL6 0JB). 

The donations will be used to help fund an international student through their two years at Atlantic College in Wales.
