Story
Oh dear, what have I let myself in for...
On Saturday, 13th June, three friends and I will be attempting to complete the Snowdonia challenge. This involves a mere 20 mile cycle to the base of Mount Snowdon, an ascent and descent of Snowdon, another 20 mile cycle ride to Lake Llanberis where we will participate in a 20 minute kayak and then back on the bikes for a sprint across the finish line. Our team is aptly called "All the gear, no idea".
As most of you are aware, my darling wife Stephanie passed away on 3rd January, after unfortunately losing her courageous battle against a rare cancer of the heart called Angiosarcoma. The other boys in the team have kindly decided to dedicate our effort to Steph and hence we will be raising money for The Sarcoma Trust. Due to it's rarity (there is more chance of winning the National lottery than being diagnosed with sarcoma), research in to sarcoma is minimal and therefore your kind donations will go a long way to help raise awareness, funding for research and support for sufferers.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Sarcoma Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
