Story
We are getting married on 31st July and do not wish to receive gifts as we do not need anything - honest! However, if you are able (and it is not compulsory) we would be delighted if you donated a small amount to one of our chosen charities. Unsurprisingly two are doggy based! - Guide Dogs for the Blind and Border Collie Trust (where our much loved and remembered Meg came from). The other is Macmillan who do a great job and we have unfortunately had the help of with some of our nearest and dearest.
This page is for Guide Dogs for the blind. Almost two million people in the UK are living with sight loss that has a significant impact on their daily lives. Of those, around 180,000 rarely leave their homes alone and lead lonely, isolated lives. Guide Dogs works for a world where people with sight loss are never left out of life, for a world where being blind or partially sighted is not what defines you. A world with enough support to make the challenges of sight loss no barrier to fulfilling hopes and dreams.
