Story
Update: thank you to all our sponsors. It is great that we managed to do it and raise so much for Alzheimers. Gran would have been pleased.
All of the mountains were hard, but Ben Nevis was the hardest, as it was a long walk, mostly in clouds, and freezing rain and wind near the top. We were also worn out from the other two.
thanks again

----------
My sister Emily (12), my brother Finlay (8) and me, Lauren (11) are climbing the three highest peaks of England, Scotland and Wales, to help raise money for Alzheimer's Research UK. This charity helps research what causes dementia and how to stop it.
The three peaks was originally a challenge to climb the highest mountains in twenty four hours, but because we have shorter legs we are going to do the challenge in 3 days.
We will start in Wales on the 7th of August, trekking 7 miles to the summit of Snowdon at 1,085m. At the end of the day we travel for four hours to the Lake District, ready to climb Scafell.
We climb Scafell, starting at the foot of the mountain and ascending 989m, covering 6 miles. On completion we travel 245 miles, approximately 5 hours in the car, to our last destination, Ben Nevis in Scotland.
On our final and highest climb of the Challenge, we have to climb to 1,344m, and walk over 10 miles. This will be the toughest one!
In total we will have travelled 725 miles, trekked 23.5 miles and ascended 3071m, and completed our Three in Three Challenge.
Please support us, to help people with the terrible condition of dementia, that affects so many people today.
