Whilst the country is having street parties for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, I will be competing in the Ironman European Championships on 5th June in Hamburg, Germany. The event starts with a 3800m swim in Hamburg's Lake Alster, followed by a 180km bike ride and then finally running a marathon to complete the Ironman. I'm hoping to use the event to raise sponsorship money for myAFK, the charity we've taken to our hearts here at Eco Park South, to support them and the fantastic work they do with young children. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated.
