Story

I'm taking on the Vietnam Hill Tribe Trek to raise much needed funds to support the work of St Oswald's Hospice.

St Oswalds Hospice are an outstanding charity that are very close to my Heart. My Daughter, Sophie visits Respite here once a month and is something that She looks forward too and gets really excited for! My relationship with the Hospice is very unique as I spend a lot of time there with Sophie, we get to spend quality time together and I have been very fortunate to have shared some very special moments with Sophie here, creating memories that we will never forget. Surfing, Swimming, Christmas Parties, and more! Things that otherwise would have been impossible to do given Sophie’s disabilities and complex needs. To share these moments in the care and professionalism of the team is priceless.

I’m taking on this challenge and preparing myself to deal with arduous terrain and Whilst there, I'll also be participating in a Community Project, completing refurbishment type tasks for a local palliative care unit.

St Oswald's Hospice cares for babies, children, young people and adults with life limiting conditions, and supports their families too. Every donation makes a difference and anything you can give is very much appreciated. Thank you for helping me to do something amazing for St Oswald's Hospice.
