I have signed up to do the Ride Across Britain which involves cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats. In addition to cycling nearly one thousand miles, I will also need to sleep in a tent. I am not sure which is worse.

I am raising money for IntoUniversity. This charity inspires young people to try for a university place. 77% of children who attend one of their courses secures a university place compared to the national average of 34%. I have volunteered to speak at a couple of sessions for them and they do a fantastic job.
