One little miracle is Declan, he was born with congenital heart disease, & since birth he has had 5 major open heart surgery's. With the support of Yorkhill Declan has overcome all of his operations & most recently a life threatening heart infection- Endocarditis this was after 3months fighting for his life in hospital. Raising money for this charity helped Declan in many ways from essential medical equipment to having a play specialist,toys & entertainment,hospital school tutoring, medi-cinema and many many more. This charity provides the children not only with their medical needs but also support to make their stay in hospital that little bit happy & easier.

This is the story of my friend Karen's little boy, and an example of the unbelievable work Yorkhill do!
