Hi my name is Stephen O'Callaghan and i am currently serving on tour in Afghanistan. I am looking to raise money for two charities - BLESMA and RMP Benevolent Fund by completing a pretty gruelling challenge that i have set myself. 

The challenge itself is to complete 12 back to back 8 mile loaded marches carrying 25 KG's of kit in a time of 24 hours. This equates to 96 miles or 4 marathons and having only a small area to utitlise will see me having to complete 240 laps to reach 96 miles.

I will be carrying out the event on 27th February 2012, starting at 0600 hrs looking to finish for 0600 hrs the next morning.
