My sister Emily inspired me to sign up for this challenge, because she loved nature and walking in mountains, and protecting wildlife.  In the last moths of her life we talked about living with hope and looking forward to do positive things and shine a light into the future.  

Emily supported me going on this adventure, and I will bring her with me in my thoughts during the long trek across the Carpathian mountains, climbing up to 2,200 metres, and visiting the Putna-Vrancea National Park meeting representatives of the Biodiversity Conservation Association www.acdb.ro biologists and wildlife experts who are seeking to protect the ecology of the Lynx species.  https://www.lifelynx.eu/about-the-project/
