Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A friend of mine is the founder of New Life Special Care Babies and though it is small, it is an amazing charity and is currently in its 27th year, and just last year surpassed the grand total of £1m raised since it's inception.

The charity essentially purchases much needed life saving equipment directly for neo-natal units, which bypasses a lot of the red tape and bureaucracy of the NHS procurement system, and also ensures that all of the money raised is spent on exactly what it was intended.

During this event I'll be taking part in a sprint triathlon and various other sporting tasks, followed by a 12-hour tennis 'stint' from midnight to 12pm, playing tennis throughout the night.

Thanks for your time reading this, and thank you for anything that you can donate to this incredibly worthy charity.

About the charity

New Life is a registered charity that is dedicated to raising money for special care baby units across the UK. The Charity was launched by Trevor Goodall in 1995 in memory of his sons who were born 3 months premature. Sadly they both died after a week but their struggle inspired Trevor to make a difference. In 2021 the Charity reached the amazing £1Million in donations which has helped so many sick and premature babies and their families.
