I will be running the BUPA Great Manchester 10k on May 15th 2011 in an effort to raise some funds for charity. I have never done anything like this before and indeed I have not run any more than a few miles in one go but I see this as a good way to make a small difference to peoples lives.

I am raising funds for the MS Society as I have seen first hand what the terrible effects of this degenerative disease 'Multiple Sclerosis' can have on the individual and their families. It changes and restricts the lives of people for the long term!
