Meggetland to Japan Fundraising Challenge, 26 October 2019
Boroughmuir Rugby coaches, parents and players are going to walk, run, row and cycle the distance from Meggetland to Yokohama in Japan, covering 9,250km to raise funds towards the extension and upgrade of our in-house gym.

Story

Some of you will know I am very involved with the Boroughmuir Rugby Club charity and Jack loves playing rugby for them.

The rugby club is at the heart of the community and is very focused on improving participation in sport at all ages.

We are currently raising funds to extend the clubs gym to allow many more people to use it, especially the young players.

The SRU have generously donated £50k and the club is raising the other £50k that is required to do the work.

Both Jack and I will cycle and row (and maybe run, if I have to) a minimum of 200km each over the next 4 weeks as part of the club travelling the distance from Meggetland (Edinburgh) to Japan for the rugby world cup.

Anything you can contribute would be very much appreciated.
