The Beat The Ferry Challenge is a one day, 52 mile cycle across four stages in the Argyll countryside. Each stage is a race against the ferry timetable. The challenge is completed by balancing pedal power with timekeeping, to ensure you catch each of the ferry crossings in between each individual stage. 

I’ll be undertaking this challenge in memory of my father in-law Alan to help raise funds for the wonderful Beatson Cancer Charity. The Beatson took tremendous care of Alan during his illness and were a great comfort to our family during a very difficult time.
