I am taking part in the Great South Run on the 16th October in aid of Alzheimer's Society. I have never taken part in any running events previously, much preferring to take my bike out however this should be a good challenge for an even better cause. 

Alzheimer's Society is at the forefront of supporting individuals and families impacted by dementia. As part of one of those families I know they were very supportive both providing advise but also access to safe equipment. They also fund research into better care and treatments for those affected. 

Any support would be greatly appreciated and help make the training and event itself that little bit easier!
