Story
After what can only be described as a moment of madness, I find myself in training for the 2024 London Marathon.
Those of you that have known me a while may remember that I was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2017 and given the all clear a few months later thanks to the fantastic care and treatment I received at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd Cancer Unit. It is for that reason I am proud to be running on behalf of Leukaemia UK.
Until recently I had never ran more than 5km so this is a monumental challenge for me - still cant quite believe I am doing it.
As part of my training I am also running the Conwy half marathon in November.
I would be very grateful for your support for this worthwile cause. Of course I appreciate times are tough for many so any contribution would make a difference and help me towards my target.
Many thanks for your support, greatly appreciated.
