Story

Hi. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

How on earth have I gone from having a quick run in the gym at the end of last year (having not run since I was a teenager) to now doing the Manchester 10K?!  I might be slightly mad, but it's for a great cause which is very personal to me and my family.

My dad was affected by Dementia and sadly passed away in October 2012.  Dementia can be a devastating illness which also impacts family and friends.  I am running in memory of my dad to support the Alzheimer's Society and raise as much money as possible.

My training is going well with the odd blister here and there and I am hoping (dreaming) that I will complete the 10K in under 1 hour (maybe I shouldn't advertise that fact..oh well!)

I can't thank you enough for all your support and donations and if you can make it, why not come and cheer me on at the start or finish line or somewhere in between!

Thanks again

Stephen  :-)
