What is the 3 Peak Challenge?
Together with some colleagies from Qliktech, we will be attempting to climb the 3 highest mountain peaks in England, Scotland and Wales within 24 hours. The whole challenge is quivalent to a Marathon but vertically! We will start climing in Scotland at 5am on 15th and finish the decent of Snowdon at at 4:59 am on the 16th!
England – Scafell Pike 978m (3,209ft)
Scotland – Ben Nevis 1,344m (4,409ft)
Wales – Snowdon 1,085m (3,560ft)
Road travel 765km / 475 miles
Approximate calories consumed = 10,000
Approximate steps taken = 58,000!
