Thank you for visiting my site.
On 14th October 2012 I will be zip wiring across the Manchester Canal from the war museum to The Lowry to raise funds for the University Dental Hospital of Manchester Charity. The Charity was set up 3 years ago to provide 'added extras' for our patients and staff and so far has supported the state of the art refurbishment of our Children's Department, funded a brand new child-friendly x-ray suite as well as allowing us to commission some artwork to make our waiting and treatment rooms a more relaxing place to be.
All of the money I raise will go towards buying new equipment to expand our adolescent intravenous sedation service (AIVS). This award winning service is dedicated to providing first class dental treatment for really anxious teenagers, many of whom have been unable to accept treatment in other centres. Since the service began in November 2010, we have successfully treated 100's of patients but now the word is out and we cannot keep up with demand! Your support will allow us to double the number of young people we can support. On their behalf, thank you!
