We provide support and fund vital research to make myeloma history

Story

In the loving memory of Stephen Brown; Daniel, Ella, Angela and Hervé (Stephen’s son, eldest daughter, sister and brother in law respectively) have decided to run the Monsal Trail half marathon in his memory.

Stephen was married to Judith for 26 years, and was a father to Daniel, Ella, Lydia and Alice. He was a caring man and a strong Sheffield United supported.

Stephen had Myeloma for 8 years before he sadly passed in September 2019. He received cutting edge Myeloma treatment at Hallamshire Hospital; to which he was thankful for the wonderful staff at the hospital and the researchers that made the treatments possible.

Myeloma, also known as multiple myeloma, is a form of blood cancer that affects the plasma cells in the blood. On average 15 people are
diagnosed with Myeloma every day in the UK and it is the second most common blood cancer. Currently there is no cure for Myeloma.

Myeloma UK is the only charity in the UK dedicated solely to Myeloma. The charity provides support for those living with Myeloma; raising awareness of the condition; and funding potentially lifesaving research. Hopefully with more funding we can find a cure for those living with the condition.

Thank you so much for reading! Any donations would be greatly
appreciated 🧡
