Story

Hi everyone, my name is Steph, I'm 25 years old and I have Muscular Dystrophy. I was really keen to take part in the 2.6 challenge and to complete a task that was within my physical ability. I am an avid Crossy Road player and I thought it would be a great idea to raise money for this fantastic charity if I could complete the length of the marathon on Crossy Road.

I have calculated that there are approximately 10,000 steps in five miles, so 26 miles would require me to take 52,000 steps on Crossy Road.

On Saturday 9th May, I will be taking on this challenge!

Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.
