Thanks for visiting our Just Giving site. Stephanie and I completed the Great North Run on September 30th, to raise money for a charity very close to my heart, Diabetes UK. It was a lovely day in Newcastle, perfect for running, and the atmosphere at the event was fantastic. After a gruelling 13.1 miles, with a number of hills thrown in, we reached the finish line in 2 hours, 11 mins and 32 seconds. The legs were very sore at the end, and the next day wasnt fun, but we are slowly recovering.

Thank you to all that have sponsored us so far, and indeed it is not too late to contribute to the good work done by Diabetes UK by sponsoring us now.
