Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On the 22nd of March I will start Reverse Rett's 5x50 challenge where I will run, walk or cycle 5k every day for 50 days. I hope to raise £500 towards research into finding treatments and a cure for Rett Syndrome. 

Our 3 year old daughter, Emilia, was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome in August 2018. Rett Syndrome is extremely complex. We have watched the disease take away skills Emilia had developed before diagnosis. Emilia is not mobile, cannot talk and has lost purposeful hand use. She also suffers with breath holding and hyperventilation. However, she is a bright and happy little girl and we would love for treatments and a cure to be developed to help Emilia and others diagnosed with Rett Syndrome. 

The 5x50 will be a big challenge for me. Finding the time, focus, mental and physical energy will all be really difficult but I am determined to see it through and raise as much as I possibly can for Reverse Rett!
