Since joining Make-A-Wish 18 months ago I have been blown away by the difference a wish makes to a critically ill child and their family. A wish brings something positive back into their lives and creates much needed happy and enduring memories during their darkest times. Last October I met some of our incredible runners at the London Marathon and carried away with the spirit of the event, told the post race reception that I would run the event next year. Well, once it was said out loud, there was no going back, so here I am!
