I enjoy tutoring a twelve year old girl weekly and have experienced the impacts Jacari has on the learning and education of migrant and asylum seeking children (her confidence has increased hugely) whom have English as their second language. It costs approximately £500 to provide free tutoring plus extracurricular trips and activities per child per year. Money raised could go towards books and resources, funding DBS checks for volunteers, extracurricular events, and funding the free tuition.
