With Henry's recovery from cancer improving daily and with his physical strength developing, as a family, in July, we are running the 5km inflatable run in Southampton to raise money for Abbys Heroes.

It will be wonderful to support such a fantastic charity who made Henry's time in hospital more bearable.  Abby's Heroes offer children and families of the Piam Brown ward at the Southampton Children’s Hospital support and care to navigate through the most difficult times.

On many occasions whilst Henry was going through the most grueling of treatments, Abby's Heroes were able to bring a smile to his face, particularly when they bought him the biggest lego set ever to keep him busy whilst spending months in hospital. Due to covid, Henry and the other children on the ward couldn’t leave their rooms, this made things like Friday Pizza nights and Picnic Tuesday's, delivered to their rooms each week, something to look forward to.

It would be amazing to raise money for Abbys Heroes knowing we are able to help other children and families in the future.
