On the 18th December my beautiful friend Claire lost her battle with cancer at the young age of 35, leaving two wonderful children, Lucy and Harry, plus family and many friends, including myself very heartbroken and sad that she was taken from us all far too soon.

Claire's strength and determination dealing with what she was confronted was amazing and she fought valiantly throughout. Claire always supported me with my running and asked me to help to raise money for Rowcroft during her final days in their reliable care. 

I am running the Edinburgh Marathon (26 miles) on Sunday 25th May in Claire's memory.
