<p>As some of you may know, my little sister Lillie Beth suffered from Meningitis in 2008. After a crucial 48 hours in the hospital she pulled through after being hours away from death. Although it was a gruelling experience for her and our family, after 2 weeks of being hospitalised she recovered from the illness and celebrated her 8th birthday this July.</p>
<p>Ever since then her mum Alison has been working closely with the Meningitis Trust and helping to fundraise for the charity.</p>
<p>In aid of this, I, along with 6 others including Alison and Lillie Beths 2 brothers will be taking part in The Bupa Great North Run 2011, each aiminig to raise £300.</p>
