Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and an even bigger thank you for sponsoring me.

I walked this marathon last year from Avebury to Stonehenge, and when I said I would do it again my marathon buddies told me I was mad because in spite of all our training it really hurt!

Anyway, one year on and I decided to challenge myself once more just to prove that the last time wasn't a fluke.

The photo shown here is of me with my Mother-In-Law, Doreen, the day after the marathon last year.  Sadly there will not be another picture taken with her as she lost her battle with this dreadful desease on Friday 19 August 2011.

My aim now is to complete the marathon in Mum's memory and to raise as much as we can for continuing research and the ongoing care so necessary for sufferers and their families.
