As most of you know, I am a passionate fundraiser for Breast Cancer Care and I have been helping this amazing charity for 6 happy years. This year I decided to bite-the-bullet and become a model at our premier event The Show. The Show is an uplifting event where all the model have had a breast cancer diagnosis, in fact some of the models are still going through their treatment. If you know me well you will know I NEVER wear make-up, or dresses, and haven't done so since I was 18. When I applied to model my aim was to show that not everyone diagnosed with breast cancer is a girlie girl and I wanted them to celebrate diversity. For reasons too long to explain it hasn't quite worked out that way  but after meeting my fellow models and listening to their stories I decided to embrace it and turn the situation into a fun and positive experience. This is going to take me so far out of my comfort zone I may need therapy afterwards.......LOL!.......but if you sponsor me, just knowing Breast Cancer Care will be able to help so many more people with the money you donate may just make it bearable for me. If I get to my total I will post pictures on Facebook in full make-up....oh my god, what am I letting myself in for.
