I am part of the Young MacDonalds' Team set up by Jim Carruth for a terrific project to buy start-up 'farms', each costing £482, in Africa to enable people to provide for their own families. My fund-raising will be:
Poetry in the Persian Tent
11am-12pm, 22nd-26th August 2012 in the Persian Tent cafe, behind St John's Church, Princes Street Edinburgh. £10.00.
A series of poetry readings over 5 days at the Edinburgh Festival Of Spirituality and Peace. Three different poets will read each day: leading poets, well-kent faces and up-and-coming names from Scotland and beyond. Booking has not opened yet. For further info, please click on:
