My family feel a strong connection with this charity. My Pops passed away 20 years ago from lung cancer, and sadly, my Nana very recently passed away after suffering from the same illness. 
We originally signed up for the walk with Nana as a participant, her caring nature always wanting to do her bit for the charity.

Her effort will not be forgotten and we are still taking part in this wonderful event! Please help us remember Nana, Mave, Mum by donating whatever little you can spare to this brilliant charity. We hope we can raise awareness and help other families like ours.

Every 15 minutes, someone in the UK dies of lung cancer.Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation is the only UK charity wholly dedicated to defeating lung cancer. It is a responsibility we take very seriously.Lung cancer is the UKs biggest cancer killer- in both men and women. It kills more people than breast, colo-rectal and prostate cancer combined yet receives only 6% of research funding. This is simply not good enough and we should all expect better.
