Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I haven't run in a half marathon before and I'm not really a runner as most of you know! I have decided to take on a challenge this time and run the Big Half London Marathon on the 4th March. I have been training for some time now, hoping the training will put me through the 21k (sounds endless, but I will make it!). 10 days ago I injured my foot and the doctor wasn't sure if I should participate but as I have given my word to Kith & Kids, I am determined to make it over the finish line.
I got introduced to this charity by Vicky, a colleague at work. She puts her heart and soul into this charity. Kith & Kids supports families who have a son/daughter with autism or learning disability. Your support will help members to participate in volunteer supported projects (football camps, cooking classes etc) and services, so members can overcome social isolation, learn new skills, make friends, enhancing their life and just simply have fun!
Vicky, Sebina and I are trying to raise £300 each (£900 total), so it would be fab if you could support me/us getting there! :-)
thank you sooo much!
