I am taking part in the Big Winter Sleep Out this year on 20th November, to help raise vital funds and awareness for the One Love Project in Southend.  I have been volunteering with One Love for just over a year and am blown away by the incredible work that they do. As well as providing hot meals for those who are sleeping rough, they offer hot showers, clothing and vital emotional support.  They also run an outreach project to carry out welfare checks and reports on rough sleepers.  They run a family foodbank for any families that are struggling and more recently a further foodbank serving Shoeburyness, including a takeaway service and mini market.  Sadly, the need is greater than ever, with many families and individuals struggling to stay afloat.  One Love provides such an essential service, without any judgement and it's a real privilege to be a part of One Love Family.  Any donation big or small will do so much to help so many people in need, so thank you xxx
