Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The Past: I did the British Gas Great London Swim in July 2011 and the Great Scottish Swim in September 2011. Raising £750 for LLR
The Future: I now ask you once again to dig deep and raise a furthur £250 at least, to get me to £1000 for LLR. I shall be swimming a Mile at the September SwimFest event in Essex on the 16th of September 2012, and it's not that simple, I shall be training hard in wind, rain and sun for moths before hand in OPEN water (not so comfy as the heated pool i've been in for winter) so please give generously to a very worthwhile charity and a very insain fundraiser!
The Reason: My sister was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia on October 14th 2003, my best friend Jack was diagnosed in August 2007, Jack passed away on 2nd of November 2007, Andrea passed away 30th of April 2010. I intend to keep swimming and raising money for Leukaemia research until the day everyone survives this disease "not until we've beaten blood cancers".
The Small Print: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
