My colleagues and I are fundraising for Wards Against Cancer because we believe that every patient deserves the very best treatment. Today, like every day, 2,500 new patients will take their first steps through the doors of one of Bristol city centre hospitals. For many of these patients, their journey through the hospitals will be one of the hardest of their lives. Once we have reached or £500 target for the Wards Against Cancer, we will continue our fundraising efforts in order to raise funds for the Acute Medical Unit at the Bristol Royal Infirmary. Funds raised will be used for vital equipment and training resources that are essential for patient care.
