I have organised a wedding in the space of 3 days as my friend's dad and his partner (Marlon and Jackie) were given some heartbreaking news last week. 

Jackie has had breast cancer for a number of years and was recently told it was terminal and has been given a few weeks to live at the age of 42. All she wants to do is marry the love of her life, Marlon, and so I have organised a wedding with much support from many people in the community for this Saturday the 14th July.

Until this week I had never met Marlon or Jackie, but when my friend called me from holiday and told me the tragic news I just knew I had to help out and would do all I could to make their day as perfect as possible.

So many people have helped and Jackie and Marlon are so grateful.  They are unable to have a honeymoon but are so grateful for the help and care and support they have received from the nurses at the Primrose Hospice that they would like to help them in any way they can.

So please, dig deep for a very good cause, as these nurses will help make Jackie's last few days as comfortable as they can.
