The Lily Foundation helps fund research into Mitochondrial Disease and other metabolic disorders, the training of medical teams and support for families who are stricken with metabolic disorders. 

I help a wonderful young girl with this devastating condition in my role as a TA at a local primary school. Having seen the challenges faced by the children and the families effected, I wanted to use this Mucky Race as an opportunity to raise a little money to help The Lily Foundation continue to give hope to these families.
