I know a lot of people will be sick of me asking for donations now as over the last two or three years I’ve taken part in various fundraisers but it is what I do when things get tough as it gives me a purpose and something to focus on! 

This time my family and I are taking part in the Colour Run to raise money for Overgate Hospice. An amazing and wonderful place which offers care and support to people who are coming to the end of their lives.

Devastatingly, my Mum is going to be needing their help in the weeks and months to come. Sadly, the cancer she fought a few years ago has returned and this time it’s just too tough to be able to fight off again. 

We are concentrating on enjoying the time we have together, in the most positive way we can and by making more memories! 

Any donations however big or small would be hugely appreciated but we would be equally as grateful for any messages of support for my Mum. She is a true inspiration and without doubt the bravest, strongest person I know!
