Dear friends,

As you know I am turning 40 on the 14th of February, 2007 and I am aware that I am not the easiest person in the world for whom to find the perfect gift @!#*@!.

Rather than cause a headache to my friends, I have decided not to accept any physical gifts but instead I would ask you to generously donate the same amount you would have spent on a gift, or even better more, to a good cause!

I have selected the WWF, an environmental charity I have personally been involved with since 1992, in the days of my shipping business and the formation of our own environmental group in Cyprus called www.cymepa.org.

As you probably know, if you live in the UK, aviation and the environment is a hot topic at the moment and since many of you will be flying to come to my party this is another way of doing your bit for the planet at the same time.
