In October 2013 my Mother was diagnosed with Cancer, sadly it had spread to far for any treatment. Sad and painfull times where to come. Cancer is a cruel, unforgiving disease. My mother remained brave and strong right to the very end.

I applied for the London Marathon through the Ballot system, have been for the last few years, seems it was desitny for me to run the 2014 Virgin London Marathon. Looking forward to being part of Team MacMillan on 13th April 2014.

I've chosen MacMillan as my Charity for the Virgin London Marathon 2014 becuase the Nurses that work for MacMillan deserve all the help and support they can get, what my Family & I went through, seeing my mother suffer was very tough and soul destroying. These dedicated Nurse's go through this on a daily basis. They on the front line of Cancer Treatment.
