Gosh that was painful!!!

James, Dan and I completed the Mud Runner at the weekend; crossing the line together in a good time of 1hour 23mins. I was the 14th woman and the boys, held back by me, finished in a respectable 116th position (out of about 400 I think).  The course was super tough with vertical drops down mud banks into DEEP mud/water filled puddles, and back up steep wooded escarpments. Thank you all so much for donating so generously to Help for Heroes. The only thing that kept me going in the last mile (apart from a helping hand from Dan and shouts of encouragement from James!) was knowing this was nothing compared to the battle our wounded troops face in getting back their life.  The site is still open for those late donations!
