Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
Some 10 years ago my best friend from Napier University days, Peter Crichton, died from pancreatic cancer. He was in his late thirties, leaving behind his wife Karen and daughter Emma (then 5 years old). His history shows the need for much research into this terrible disease: after a few weeks of stomach pains he was diagnosed, and died only a few months later.
In his memory I will take part in the Robin Wilkie Memorial Cycle along the Forth & Clyde and Union canals - approx 52 miles (for details please visit www.pancanal.co.uk). The cycle is was started 4 years ago and is organised by a friend, Kim Craven, whose brother Robin died aged 49 much like my friend Peter in a matter of months.
As for your donation, I am grateful for anything you are willing to give. Peter loved cycling as do I, so the main thing for me is to remember him and do a great big cycle at the same time!

Sally Magnusson, journalist and broadcaster, daughter of Magnus Magnusson , will be starting the cycle at Anniesland (Magnus Magnusson died of pancreatic cancer in 2007).
And now the Justgiving blurb....
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your support.
