We provide conductive education in Brighton to help children with physical disabilities

Story

Hello everybody, as you may or may not know I am running the Brighton Marathon with Nkosi Stoole and Jordan Farenden on the 15th of April. I am Running in aid of Whoopsadaisy, a charity for the benefit of young children with cerebral palsy and other motor disorders. This charity is very important to me as my brother has cerebral palsy and have seen how the effects of conductive education has helped him.

Most of you will have met my brother Chris and will know he is a lively character and a great guy. With the help he had from conductive education Chris is the person he is today. This is why I am very passionate about this charity. I want other children with cerebral palsy to have the same help as Chris did. With the money I raise it can help children with cerebral palsy like Chris to acheive what he has. Please Donate it does not have to be a large amount, it can be anything. No matter how much you donate it will help.

The overall aims include:

Developing children's range and control of movement.

Developing abilities in self-help skills.

Developing social and daily living skills.

Developing expressive and receptive language skills.

Providing opportunities to study a balanced curriculum at appropriate levels of understanding.

Working with parents/cares to encourage greater independence within the home.

Liaising with other professionals as appropriate.

Thanks for reading.

Whoopsadaisy helps children with physical disabilities live life as independently as possible. Using the Hungarian method of Conductive Education we focus on what the children can do in group sessions which the children's parents and carers also attend. .At Whoopsadaisy every step counts.
