Story
I have some company on the 150ish mile ride up to Hull, who else but Steve 'Dad' Meeson. I've done a lot of miles with this legend before and have no doubt that we'll have a great journey together raisimg money for the foundation. Hopefully our bags get up there safely in the bus.
Training has been a non-starter this year, with terrible weather and constant battles with colds and my own demons. I'm looking at some intense work over the next 3 weeks to get me to a decent level to take on the big ride to Hull. Once I'm in the group I'll just hide in the wheels.
As I've done some silly long rides in the past I thought I'd make my Baggies Bike Challenge a real challenge. I'm planning on riding solo to the groups start point in Hull and joining them for the cycle back to The Hawthornes. My route isn't yet final but its looking like 150miles will be around the distance for my solo ride.
