Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page for the St. Christopher's 10k run.

I'm Tom Papworth, the local councillor for Crystal Palace, where St. Christopher's Hospice is based. I'm hoping to get as many runners to run the 10k with me as possible, and to attract as many donations as possible. That way we can show our support for this vital local charity.

St. Christopher's has sat at the heart of our local community for 44 years, providing and promoting skilled and compassionate care for people in the last few weeks of their lives. It serves 1.5 million people across the London boroughs of Bromley, Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark, reaching some of England’s most deprived areas.

You can sponsor me or the other runners through this page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

The run will take place on Sunday 16 October in Croydon (we’re piggy-backing on the annual Croydon 10k). So please dig deep and donate now.
